JOURNEYS B2 STUDY PAC

Each Unit of Journeys contains: · Getting started, which includes objectives of the unit and a warm-up to the theme· A reading text (or texts): articles, blogs, leaflets, adverts etc· A variety of exam-type reading comprehension questions with open questions in every unit· Vocabulary tasks, including collocations, idioms, phrasal verbs, word building etc, plus an expansion task based on the unit theme· Grammar tasks, where students are helped to work out the rules of themselves· An exam-type listening task· A full-exam type speaking ‘test’, linked to the unit theme· A writing task with useful questions that make students think about exactly what they have to write and why, plus help with planning and language· Looking back, where students assess themselves by means of a quick quiz and an ‘I can do’ questionnaire
