JOURNEYS WRITE IN READER GRADE 4

Write-In Reader is a consumable worktext that preteaches and reteaches weekly core skills and vocabulary to help below-level readers successfully access classroom instruction. It contains a passage each week written about a year below grade level for students to practice monitoring and clarifying as they read. A new spread entitled “Be a Reading Detective” returns to the on-level Anchor Text each week and motivates students to read closely for important textual clues. It provides additional scaffolds to help students analyze the text.
